This action packed event is coming up soon. Of course I'm referring to FIFA's 2010 World Cup, with South Africa making its debut as host. Let the world see how passionate, energetic, enthusiastic, and excited you are about this amazing sporting event, which runs from June 11th through July 11th 2010.

Africa is diverse in tradition as well as culture. South Africans are hoping that hosting the world cup will help to alter the world view of the nation, and that people will recognize their humanity and their country's strength and charm – its resources and tourist sites.

As a football fanatic, you're bound to tune in to World Cup action. Planning ahead is the optimum way to enjoy the experience.

2010 World Cup Checklist

1. Get information: Make sure you stay current on all relevant football information, like when and where your favorite games will be played. If you'd like, check out the websites for ESPN (www.espn.com) or FIFA (www.fifa.com/worldcup/) for current information.

2. Decide where to view the match: Once you choose a game, reserve your seat tickets. Your best option is going to a local cafe or pub to watch the game, if you cannot travel to South Africa and see it in person. The games will be shown live in most local pubs and cafes, and you will have a ton of fun viewing them with your friends. If you're on a budget, then a football bash at someone's home is a good option. Just have some snacks and beverages delivered, and it'll be a blast. Another option is renting lodging for a month so your chums can get together there prior to the matches. You're bound to have a great time.

3. Wear a costume: To fully enjoy the world cup experience, be sure to wear a World Cup fancy dress costume. There are numerous options when it comes to costumes. Try MC Hammer or Bruno costumes. By wearing a girlie, frilly dress costume your wild side is sure to come out. The perfect costume might be a cheerleader or firegirl costumes. You're sure to find what you're seeking from the shopping outlet at http://grippers.co.nz online. The right costume will draw attention to you, no matter where you are.

4. Travel to South Africa: If you plan on visiting overseas, take time to carefully arrange your itinerary. Make the arrangements for a place to stay and book your game tickets. Hotel rooms are quite costly, so consider renting a property if you are traveling with a lot of people. See the local tourist attractions when you aren't at the games.

Demonstrate that you're a true fan in a unique manner. Put on your special get-up, then root on your favorite team and show your support. First and foremost, make sure to celebrate the grandest competition on the planet.
